GMD PRO, Inc. prides itself in providing quality fabrication services for the growth of businesses.

It all began with the love for football. Founders, Paulo Garcia, Mar Mungcal, Kim David and Bryan Badajos started out as teammates and eventually decided to come up with a business of their own. “It was a talk-over-beer kind of collaboration between my teammates. Paulo, Mar and I would meet after football games and discuss what an ideal fabrication company would be like. We all gave our ideas and decided to put those ideas into reality and committed to create our own company given our diverse backgrounds,” Kim recalled. He has over fifteen years of experience as an event producer. His expertise includes product launches, awards nights, parties, and the like. He heads the marketing team of GMD PRO, Inc.

On October 2019, GMD PRO, Inc. was finally launched. They specialize in booth design and fabrication, retail design and execution, product mock ups and large format printing. “We want to be the consistent partner of agencies and companies in creating various quality fabricated items because of our consistent excellence in both creating and managing projects. Our clients are our top priority therefore our designs are elegant and purposeful—it basically reflects their objectives,” Paulo shared. Some of their clients include Johnnie Walker, Cebuana Lhuillier, Unicef, SMART, San Miguel, and many more. Paulo on the other hand, heads the sales and operations team. He began his career in the events field for different industries such as hotel, BPO, airline and real estate. He also started to build his way into different businesses.

Since it was launched, it has grown tremendously. “Our first project was a huge photo wall and we were already ecstatic with that. More blessings came in and we are grateful that we were also able to partner with ad agencies. Because of the influx of projects, our manpower increased and we needed to have a warehouse of our own to accommodate more,” Bryan happily shared. He was the newest addition to the team. “We wanted to strengthen our team more therefore we included Bryan who is a licensed architect,” Mar added. Mar heads the research and design team along with Bryan. Both of them graduated from UST however, Mar majored in industrial design.

Because of the positive response of their clients, the future is bright for GMD PRO Inc. “We plan on expanding our services to furniture-fabrication and even to construction,” Kim pointed out.

What started out as a casual conversation over beer and football translated into something more. The journey of Kim, Paulo, Mar, and Bryan shows that anything is possible. “Creating your own company does not necessarily mean you have to do it alone. Seek help. Get people involved. Share your ideas. Collaborate. Sometimes, it really just takes a leap of faith and a small push to move things along.  You have to be willing to jump,” They concluded.
